The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader - Information Technology to join our Brisbane office. As a team lead, you will manage and mentor a small team of Desktop Support Analysts and successfully deliver IT support to our teams both locally and nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Network Operations Team in operating and managing SMEC's Corporate IT network
- Assist in managing the local IT Network systems and mechanisms to deliver a robust operational corporate IT environment.
- Partnering and supporting Global IT
- Project resource for rollouts of new technologies, upgrades and deployments across the business.
- Participate in Group Technology ad hoc activities.
- Mentor & lead a team of 2-4 System Analysis.

About You

The ideal applicant will have demonstrable experience in a similar role ideally within a professional services environment. In addition, we are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with;

Typically, experience in the operation of an enterprise level virtual environment, including:

- Operation of an International Active Directory/DNS/DHCP environment.
- Operation of an enterprise level virtual environments.
- Working in public and private corporate data centres.
- Maintaining Virtual Machine architecture environment - preferably ESXi Hosts
- Managing Vendors/maintain licence renewals.
- Have racked and installed Server Equipment.

Skills / Knowledge
- Knowledge of VMWare Systems, maintaining/patching/upgrading.
- Knowledge of HP Hardware Server; Be able to Deploy a new HP Server to key locations when they need replacing.
- Knowledge of automated endpoint deployment and management using centralised management tools.
