We are currently seeking an experienced IT Service Owner - Enterprise Systems/ Enterprise Systems Manager to join our IT Shared Services team and be accountable for the management of Application Delivery and Support of all Enterprise systems, as well as working with the broader team to enable outcomes and success of IT Shared Service Platform.

**About the opportunity**:
Reporting to the Head of IT Shared Service Platform, you will be responsible for designing user-centric technology solutions, services and journeys, supporting every state of the product development/service design lifecycle to ensure delivery of the best possible end-user experience.

The role will manage a cross-functional team and leading stakeholder engagement across directorates, schools and external stakeholders to design and deliver service roadmaps, and documenting processes to ensure sound change management. The IT Service Owner will also act as an SME on changes rolled out by the Platform and key business partners.

**The IT Service Owner - Enterprise Systems/ Manager is accountable for**:

- Managing the platform service lifecycle, including defining and executing platform service vision and strategy, identifying and resolving issues and collecting and prioritising inputs to inform product/services
- Leading and defining an outcome-oriented service roadmap, informed by customer insights and feedback
- Leading research including consultation with stakeholders and related activities, to define current and future product enhancements to meet customer needs
- Ensuring service design compliance with regulatory obligations and relevant CSPD’ s policies and standards, proactively identifying risks associated to the service, and remediation initiatives
- Sourcing information from various sources to enable monitoring of product/service performance and assessing that performance against key regulatory and performance objectives
- Managing staff workload, prioritise responsibilities, mentor and coach team members
- Embedding a service management culture within the wider team and lead all service design activities for the platform
- Understanding the needs of the directorates and the schools including pain points to drive effective and efficient change delivering customer centric business outcomes
- Managing and monitoring change to continuously improve the platform offering and processes

- Strong problem-solving capabilities with strong motivation with investigating and providing recommended options/solutions to complex problems and technical nuances
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environment and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and management capabilities
- Proven ability to lead and influence without direct authority
- Demonstrated initiative, analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to initiate and participate in business improvement activities
