We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Sydney’s Inner-West suburbs.

**About the Role**
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by providing personalised, high-quality support. Your responsibilities will include
- Delivering individualised assistance with daily activities, personal care, and community engagement.
- Supporting therapy programmes (e.g., physical, occupational, or speech therapy) in collaboration with therapists and coordinators.
- Monitoring and documenting client progress, sharing clear and timely updates with the support team.
- Encouraging social participation through meaningful activities and fostering community connections.
- Transporting participants to appointments or community activities, ensuring safe and reliable travel.
- Creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment that honours each client’s preferences and dignity.

**Shift Details**
- **Location**:In-person, Inner-West suburbs.
- **Schedule**:Primarily weekdays (day shifts) with potential for night shifts and weekend work.
- **Flexibility**:Opportunities for additional hours based on availability.

**Essential Requirements**
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Proven experience as a support worker, ideally with high-needs clients.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or ability to obtain by meeting requirements and passing police check).
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid First Aid certification.
- Current driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive vehicle insurance, and confidence driving in Sydney streets.
- Willingness to transport participants as part of the role.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A genuine passion for empowering individuals with disabilities.
