About the Role
Reporting into the General Manager and working closely with the Regional Managers, this role will focus on the development of a cluster of stores to drive and deliver results, as well as participate in projects that will make a meaningful difference to the business.
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Spending time in stores and in the field getting to know the business and building knowledge of the operational aspects of the branch network, as well as the automotive aftermarket industry
Working closely with the GM Burson and Regional Managers, to drive and deliver critical business projects
Supporting Regional Managers to deliver the Burson business plans and initiatives
Coaching Store Managers to perform effectively, driving business & profitability-based decisions
Providing feedback and encouragement on all levels of performance, including customer service and the delivery of an exceptional service experience
Working with Regional Managers to establish store budgets, with a particular focus on margin and profitability
Being an advocate for and role model safety in the business
Developing and growing the capability of Store Managers, Assistant Managers and Sales Reps. to enable them to reach their potential
About you
Key to your success, is proven experience in a retail or trade stores environment, in a regional or multi-site leadership role with the ability to coach and develop store managers. You have a hand-on style, strong networking skills and a demonstrated ability to develop, build and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally. You have excellent attention to detail, are commercially savvy, able to build relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, able to juggle multiple activities at once, enjoying the fast pace environment our trade stores bring You love being out and about and are likely on the road up to 4 days a week vising and supporting stores in your region.
