**As our Manager, Agribusiness Development, you will**:

- Utilise and develop strategic networks, including within DAF and other state supply chain challenges; grow their business and contribute to the regional economy.
- Identify new agricultural industry development opportunities specific to the region and develop projects and lead multidisciplinary teams to respond to, and deliver on, these opportunities
- Lead the delivery of regional projects and activities and relevant state-wide initiatives on behalf of the RED Team when required
- Mentor, guide, lead and develop staff in a changing environment to deliver upon rural economic development priorities in the region and across Queensland
- Contribute as part of the DAF natural disaster response to quantify impacts and ensure that agribusinesses in South region recover quickly following a natural disaster event.

What you will bring
- Experience in the management of staff and project outcomes
- Ability to travel and undertake work remotely
- Proven record of working independently
- A C Class driver licence
