**About us**:
Anglicare Tasmania is a non-profit organisation providing a wide range of community services to the people of Tasmania. We are part of the national Anglicare Australia network of organisations. Anglicare advocates for social justice and aids people in times of need. We provide programs relating to ageing and disability, health, housing, families, drug and alcohol treatment and support and more.

**About the Role**:
**The successful applicant will possess demonstrable competency, knowledge, understanding and/or skills in the following areas**:

- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of housing information, community resources, service providers and referral points.
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholders including government, private businesses, human services, and people seeking services.
- Demonstrated ability to adopt a solution-focused approach to work tasks.
- Understanding of Tasmania’s current housing market and the difficulties facing people on a low-income trying to secure housing.
- Experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to working collaboratively with Housing Connect partners to negotiate a consistent approach across all areas of operations.
- Qualifications relevant to the position or extensive experience and/or lesser qualifications deemed equivalent.

**What we offer you**:

- an attractive salary of $76,866 to $80,146

The successful applicant will be required to:

- provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check
- present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months);
- provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
- provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical:

- provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence.

On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
