Our client is seeking their next Lending Specialist to contribute to the growth of their banking business

**Your new role**
In this role you will be responsible for helping members achieve their home ownership goals within the Canberra region.

You will:

- Implement residential financing and consumer solutions through an exceptional service
- Assess and evaluate the best suited solutions to customer's needs and requirements with a focus on mortgages
- Take ownership of the relationships within your portfolio focusing on service, growth and retention
- Proactively seek and develop portfolio growth opportunities while being responsible for the mortgage from lead to settlement, building trust and confidence throughout
- Be directly responsible for the provision of credit assistance
- Adhere to all regulator requirements and company processes

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience within mortgage lending with a proven track record in exceeding targets
- Extensive experience in branch based personal lending or digital lending solutions will also be considered
- A high level of initiative, a fast learner and a helpful attitude
- Tier 2 accreditation and/or Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage broking
- An effective communicator who works proactively and shows strong business acumen
- You will be member centric with a passion for what you do and for working in a close knit team
- Someone who wants to succeed and will enjoy a fun, fast paced, high-performance culture

**What you'll get in return**
