A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Zurich Assure as Head of Advice Quality and Assurance, reporting to the Head of Zurich Assure.

This is a principal leadership role that is responsible for supporting governance, assurance and advice compliance for the Zurich Assure business. You will review and assess adviser behaviours and quality of advice, as well as provide coaching to uplift team capabilities and drive continuous improvement. Further, you will monitor and evaluate any industry changes, including regulatory and legislative reforms.

Working in an agile environment, your advice compliance expertise will help to chart the continued evolution of Zurich Assure’s advice offering to meet the needs of our customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Be a key contributor to driving a consistent, compliant and efficient Advice offering to customers
- Drive excellence in team engagement
- Provide coaching insights for advisers/Advice Directors on improvements gathered from insights from AQR’s and Pre-Vetting
- Responsible Manager (alongside other senior Zurich Assure staff) on the Zurich Assure AFSL license
- Contribute to the strategic direction of Zurich Assure

- Strong experience in advice compliance and governance
- Experience across financial services and financial planning is essential
- Technical experience/background with Financial Planning Process and or Compliance
- Understanding of risk evaluation and business risk mitigation
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian regulatory environment
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor a team
- Innovative mindset with the ability to prioritise multiple initiatives
- Capability in identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
