**About the role**:
We are currently recruiting a **HR Operations Manager** to be based at our Port Melbourne site supporting Boeing Aerostructures Australia - the largest manufacturer of Aircraft components and Aircraft in Australia and part of the Boeing International Supply Chain.

This role will leverage your HR experience to influence and drive change, develop your own team to improve the employee & business stakeholder experience, ensure that HR services operate smoothly and efficiently, and contribute to the business’s overall strategic people plan.

Reporting to and acting as 2IC to the General Manager of HR, this role is new to this HR team, following a HR organization change. The role is designed to drive step change progress in key HR practices that enhance the employee experience and support a growing business.

The position has broad responsibility for HR Operations, impacting workforce pipeline development and planning, on-boarding, employee benefits, health & wellbeing, injury management, learning and development, and talent management, as well as HR data and system administration, HR policies and processes, compliance, and process improvement.

You will be excited by identifying process improvements, before they become obviously required, and developing and implementing right sized programs for a diverse manufacturing and engineering workforce. You will enjoy striking a balance between coaching and developing your people and being ‘hands-on’ as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, manage and develop an effective HR team to enable the delivery of services that support employee experience in key moments that matter
- Implementing and maintaining fit for purpose practices and manage and improve HR Operations workflows that support the team and the broader organization,
- Actively and creatively engage and support change management, developing people strategies which will have organisation-wide impact.

**More about you**
- Tertiary qualifications in a human resource management or related disciplines, or equivalent 6+ years’ experience.
- People project implementation experience - supporting organisation wide outcomes
- Strong people management skills - having supported teams through development, change management and implementation of people projects, policies and processes
- A breadth of HR knowledge punctuated with experience in one or more HR disciplines around systems and employee data management, workers compensation & health services, or learning and organisational development. And a passion for learning and building a depth of knowledge across a range of HR Operations areas
- Demonstrated capability to influence, inform and educate - across a wide group of audiences including employees, front line managers, leadership teams and HR practitioners across a global footprint.
