- We are currently seeking a dynamic professional **_Contract Manager - Electrical. _**Based in our Bennetts Green facility in Newcastle, you will be accountable for managing all commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of projects to ensure compliance, obligations, and objectives are met.
- Reporting to the Regional Manager other responsibilities and accountabilities include;
- Ensure tenders, quotations and contracts accurately evaluate commercial risks and are in accordance with UGL policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ensure the project team maintains records in commercial, contract, quality, and safety matters to protect UGL’s position
- Undertake post-contract completion reviews, examine results, and recommend and/or undertake corrective action as necessary
- Continually scope for new work outside of existing contracts to add value by providing a diversified range of services, efficiencies and business improvements
- Establish appropriate and effective KPI’s for all direct reports and drive performance
- Adhere to UGL and Clients safety and environmental systems, standards and legislative requirements
- About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent, ideally coupled with a Trade background
- Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management with Tier 1 or 2 company experience
- Proficient understanding of commercial and contractual management
- Demonstrated experience in the negotiation and management of commercial contracts that achieve service delivery outcomes
- Advanced skill in MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong leadership skills, with highly developed communication skills, and the ability to build highly functional teams to generate growth opportunities
