**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
As the Contracts and Procurement Manager, you will develop a contract and procurement strategy, ensuring best practice processes and standards are delivered and embedded within Coal LSL.

You will:

- Develop an internal control framework for procurement, contract management and supplier management, ensuring compliance for a public entity.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and the wider organisation to champion a culture of best practice procurement.
- Establish an electronic contract management system to monitor and manage contract compliance.
- Implement a reporting framework that measures effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Provide advice throughout the contract lifecycle - from procurement preparation and planning, evaluation, negotiation, contract award and delivery.
- Review, monitor and manage contract performance together with the contract owner through a lens for continual improvement.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a contract management or procurement role, preferably within a highly regulated environment. You are experienced leading and mentoring stakeholders and developing procurement strategy frameworks.

Your background will demonstrate your:

- Experience in a similar contract management or procurement role.
- Ability to develop a contract and procurement strategy, and to implement it across an organisation (highly desirable).
- Competent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive best practice procurement processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in report writing, policy development and training programs.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Commerce, Corporate Governance or related discipline.
- Professional Association Membership e.g. Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or similar.
