**We are seeking an experienced leader to supervise, lead and manage the Security team based at East Perth.**
**Summary of Responsibilities**:
- Supervise, lead and manage the security team by promoting a harmonious workplace culture ensuring all performance issues are actioned with in a timely manner.
- Provide training and mentoring to the security team.
- Undertake staff rostering requirements to ensure there is adequate staffing levels to manage the site in line with fatigue management policies.
- Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Investigate incidents and compile information for accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with the Coordinator, Training & Projects to ensure relevant training is undertaken for all staff to perform security duties and functions, including online and personnel training as required.
- Manage the security team for events management.
- Ensure accurate reporting to Group Manager, Security, in accordance with site documentation and incident data in SharePoint.
- Ensure daily checks and audits are conducted by the Security Team and are stored/recorded correctly and communicated to management.
- Ensure incidents are raised in (Risk Platform) and ensure Security Officers report and lodge incident reports in an efficient and timely manner (within 24hrs).
- Facilitate “Toolbox” meetings weekly and minutes are circulated to security staff.
- Maintain and monitor Security Management System and Access Control and Intruder Detection, issue access cards, keys and vehicle entry to ensure staff access to site is valid and up to date.
- Escalate CCTV footage requests to ensure data and CCTV footage is collated and saved ready for investigation.
- Ensure electronic and physical security counter measures are functional and meeting performance standards.
- Raise Purchase Orders and receive-in/pay invoices to the stipulated limit value assigned to you for service providers within the D365 platform.
- Prepare and coordinate maintenance schedules. Inform management of any repairs.
- Observe and report of any unlawful activity, and complete first aid/security incident reports when required.
- Ensure armoured vehicles and couriers are escorted into the sally port for precious metal collection and deliveries.
- Ensure staff check and confirm dispatch and deliveries of precious metal leaving/entering site.
- Ensuring JSA’s and Work Instructions are submitted in a timely manner for contractors working on-site.
**We are looking for someone who has the following**:
- First Aid Certificate (OFA preferred).
- Certificate III Security Operations preferred.
- Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience/supervisor experience.
- Experience in Security Operations for at least 2 years.
- Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
