**About the Role**
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales Team. In this role you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing B2B accounts, as well as dealing with new business that will land in your inbox from our marketing programmes (inbound leads). You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored shade solutions that align with their brand and business goals.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that combines sales, project coordination, and client support. You’ll be backed by a collaborative team, strong internal processes, and high-quality products that customers genuinely love. **Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to incoming sales enquiries and convert them to sales.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing commercial B2B clients, maintaining strong relationships and repeat business.
- Prepare tailored quotes, proposals, and product recommendations that meet each client's brand and site requirements.
- Maintain and update CRM records (Zoho and Cin7 Omni), including lead tracking, deal values, and client notes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing, delivery, and post-sale service.
- Occasionally attend site visits, client meetings, and trade shows to support sales opportunities and build industry knowledge.
- Develop a solid understanding of our products and branding options to confidently engage with clients.
**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**:
- **B2B Sales Experience**- Previous experience in B2B sales or account management (preferably in commercial, building materials, events, or print/signage sectors)
- **Communication Skills**- Strong written and verbal communication with a professional yet personable approach to client interactions.
- **Presentation Confidence**- Ability to present ideas and product solutions clearly over the phone, in person or in writing.
- **Organisation & Detail**- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Systems Savvy**- Ability to confidently use systems and modern apps/programs (eg. Office 365 suite, AI, Canva, etc).
- **CRM Proficiency**- Experience with Zoho or Salesforce is highly regarded, but we’re happy to provide training to the right person.
- **Technical Understanding**- Ability to read and interpret site plans and product measurements.
- **Negotiation Skills**- Confident negotiating deals, especially in high-value or strategic commercial sales.
- **Proactive Attitude**- A proactive, ambitious mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
- **Growth-Oriented**- Eagerness to learn and grow—this role has plenty of room for development and progression.
- **Customer-Focused Approach**- A genuine interest in helping clients bring their vision to life with practical, beautiful products.
- **Travel Readiness**- A driver’s licence and willingness to travel for occasional site visits or trade events.
NOTE: This is an office-based role with mínimal “on the road” sales visits and very limited scope to work from home.
