**THE OPPORTUNITY**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an **Accounting and Administration **Assistant** based in **Huntingwood. **This position involves working as part of our collaborative Accounts team - reporting to the Commercial Manager.

This is a** FULL-TIME** role - working 38 hours.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Preparation of month end data
- Daily accounts reconciliation and processing
- Bank and general ledger reconciliation
- Accounts receivable functions
- Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements
- Participation in stock takes
- General accounting tasks
- General administration duties as required
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment

**ABOUT YOU**
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer literacy - particularly with MS Excel
- Previous experience in a similar role
- An understanding of profit and loss implications
- A passion to meet deadlines
- A formal accounting qualification or currently undertaking study to attain a qualification is highly advantageous
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
- Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
