**Business Development Specialist**

The primary purpose of this role is to sell BOC products within the allocated customer markets. This will be achieved primarily through proactive in person sales calls to new customers that are not currently trading with BOC and selling our range of products. Revenue generation is the primary goal achieved through closing sales.

- You will establish relationships with new non-BOC customers to increase revenues by sales of all products and services to these customers
- Conduct sales campaigns to targeted customers to sell our range of products in accordance with marketing strategies on a daily basis
- You shall extensively generate leads, identify customer needs and ‘add-on’ or ‘cross-selling’ opportunities. Pass on sales leads to appropriate field sales representatives for closing where appropriate
- Your responsibility includes achieving agreed sales and call rate targets. Provide quotations to customers and follow up to close the sale in a timely manner
- Positively influence the customer's perception of BOC primarily through strong customer focus and selling our extensive range of products to meet their needs
- Furthermore, you will collect Market insight / Competitive activity within Salesforce. Understand the commercial decision-making processes and ensure the appropriate relationships are established and fostered to generate sales
- Comply with BOC Safety Standards, Process, Procedures & Regulations

**What makes you great**
- Minimum of 2 years of field Sales experience
- Ability to work independently with demonstrated sales results
- Experience working with CRM platforms (SFDC preferable)
- Successful track record in sales and closing deals
- Previous experience with business development, outbound sales, account management, or similar role highly desirable
