The Development Assessment & Sustainability team at the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure assess and regulate projects - including those for the state’s most significant infrastructure to balance the needs of the NSW community, environment and economy.

Our **Executive Assistant** provides high level administrative support to a senior executive of the Division to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Division/Branch and support the achievement of operational objectives.

**The Role**

In this pivotal role, you will provide high level secretarial and administrative services to support the executive’s contribution to the achievement of agency objectives.

You will, prepare, edit and format confidential briefing notes, ministerial correspondence, other memoranda, working papers, routine correspondence, reports and invoicing, manage diary appointments and daily schedules on behalf of senior executive management and determine urgency of critical or sensitive issues for senior executive attention to enable the timely discussion and resolution of business-critical issues.

**What you will bring to the role**

Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage and complete constant competing and changing priority requests and demands to enable timely and accurate responses and issues management within tight timeframes and required standards, while also managing high volume concurrent day to day tasks.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Demonstrated experience within a large complex organisation in a similar role
- Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office, data management systems and self-service systems (and ability to learn new software systems)
- Ability to provide quality and responsive administrative support and service and assist with the seamless operation
