**Venue Manager** to lead the team at this well known, fun & fresh venue ($100k - South Yarra, VIC)

Born from the vibrant streets of Southeast Asia, our client's restaurant is fun, playful, fast, and fresh Step into this colourful world that brings taste buds screaming to life You will manage and grow top line sales in a manner that encourages usage by locals and tourists, and in so doing run a profitable business that achieves top line sales growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strive to exceed customers expectations relative to service and quality of beverages and the atmosphere created.
- Achieve top line sales growth in line with daily, weekly, annual budgets
- Achieve EBITDA figure in line with annual budget
- Recruit, select, train and develop front of house staff that fit well with the bar’s culture, and that of the Group
- Minimise wages costs through good roster control and managing staffing levels in line with the needs of the business and the season.
- Manage the Training of all team members, working with the Sommelier and Chef to ensure all staff are confident with their knowledge of the food, beverage, and service
- Responsibility for all internal and external communication and regular reporting
- Carefully manage stock so variances are minimised and staff are held accountable
- Create a fun environment that staff enjoy, and ensures they go the extra mile

**Skills**:

- Demonstrated experience in a senior role in the hospitality industry
- Profit &Loss responsibility.
- Proven experience in staff leadership, development and staff training
- Strong analytical/decision-making skills
- Experience in POS systems, stock and financial reporting systems
- Sound working knowledge of HR practices
- Strong business math and accounting skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Good oral/written skills and confident communicator.
- Understanding of the 24/7 nature of the hospitality operations environment
