**About the Role**
You will get the chance to make a meaningful impact on the philanthropic aspect of the University of Melbourne. You’ll support the development and delivery of communications, programs and activities that nurture meaningful forms of engagement that result in donor loyalty and retention, strengthening relationships between the University and its Leadership Giving and Engagement donors, including those who support Regular Giving initiatives such as the university wide annual appeals.

You’ll join a dynamic team, responsible for a pan-University service model for donor engagement across the pillars of gift acknowledgement, recognition, engagement, and impact communications and reporting, to enable an outstanding and consistent experience for all philanthropic supporters of the University. This role also contributes to the Donor Relations team’s objectives to enhance the donor experience, increase donor retention and support pipeline development through the abovementioned activities.

Responsibilities include:

- As part of the Alumni and Donor Relations Centre of Excellence, assist with the implementation of the University’s donor relations strategy.
- In collaboration with Communications and Marketing, deliver impact reporting and engagement following each of the University’s main fundraising appeals.
- Deliver a suite of staff giving stewardship and engagement activities.

**Who we are looking for**
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, bringing an optimistic, can-do approach to all your tasks and responsibilities with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to prioritise allows you to meet competing deadlines and achieve goals and objectives in a collaborative manner across a large organisation. Your high-level attention to detail also ensures you deliver consistent and accurate work.

You will also have:

- An appropriate tertiary qualification with relevant fundraising, donor relations or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training as per the current Enterprise Agreement classifications
- Skills in manipulating and analysing data as it relates to the delivery of donor, customer or membership programs and activities.
- Experience in the delivery of events.
