Caterpillar is seeking a Regional Operations Manager reporting to MineStar’s Product Support Manager to oversee regional Operations Technology activities, manage customer expectations, dealer engagement, maximize the products “as designed” productivity and safety, while utilizing MineStar Technology products.

This position will lead their organization of Customer Operations Managers, Site Operations Managers, Applications Specialists and On-Board Specialists to optimize the “as delivered” performance of their MineStar Technology Products through effective collaboration with internal Product Support Specialists, Dealers, and Customers.

The role will lead Customer Operations Managers and staff to partner with MineStar Product Support teams and ensure regional mine sites/ customers have robust technology solutions that provide customer satisfaction.

The role will be accountable for leading all MineStar Operation’s personnel, budget development and management, human resources management, and MineStar Technology contract administration. The incumbent will assure proper management and escalation of regional, customer, and site technology issues to ensure the productivity and safety of Caterpillar Technology Products.

**Job Duties**:
The Regional Operations Manager will be accountable for operational and strategic management with the incumbent leveraging Product Support technology teams to maintain and improve the performance of Caterpillar Technology Products deployed at their sites. This includes coordination and collaboration with other Technology Regional Operations Mangers that service MineStar’s multinational mining customers.

The role will be accountable for leading all MineStar Operation’s personnel, budget development and management, human resources management, and MineStar Technology contract administration. The incumbent will assure proper management and escalation of regional, customer, and site technology issues to ensure the productivity and safety of Caterpillar Technology Products.

**Key responsibilities for the Regional Operations Manager include**:

- Provide leadership and direction to support multiple Technology mining accounts within their region that provides a values-based approach to the MineStar Technology business.
- Lead the Operations management of Customer, Dealer, site, commercial, and Operations technology business issues.
- Partner with regional customer management to ensure customer satisfaction and promote ongoing business opportunities.
- Collaboration with Account Managers, client personnel, Product Support staff, and other Regional Operations Managers to allocate resources and resolve issues associated with MineStar Technology accounts.
- Responsible for regional collaboration alignment of MineStar operational strategies, deliverables, contractual commitments, and account performance expectations.
- Development and adherence to Operations budgets and resourcing strategies.
- Deliver the performance and safety of technology solutions within their assigned region, working collaboratively with Customer Technology Managers to ensure success of their operations.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Mine site experience including experience in technology, mine operations and/ or significant Dealer and Customer support related roles.
- Significant experience in progressively responsible leadership role.
- Knowledge and understanding of Caterpillar Dealer operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to deal with sensitive issues, development of subordinates, and collaboration with others.
