**Venue Manager**

Lux Foundry is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to oversee daily operations in an icon of Brunswick hospitality

We are a fun-loving, professional team with a focus on good vibes, great food, and exceptional service

**Who are we?**

Nestled in a heritage listed warehouse just off Sydney Road, Lux has developed into a breakfast and lunch Mecca over our 14 years of operation. We are a high-volume venue, committed to providing a warm, fun, and welcoming environment for staff and guests alike.

**The Role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader, with experience in high volume settings and motivation to grow and learn alongside a tight knit team.

With a focus on managing a large and effective team you will be hands on in elevating the service standards, increasing revenue, and ensuring ongoing and effective training with an emphasis on product knowledge.

You will:

- Lead, develop, motivate, and train your team to deliver an outstanding experience for staff and guests alike.
- Oversee all day-to-day operational requirements of the business
- Monitor forecasts, making sure that services and labour are adapted to reach financial targets.
- Plan and implement standards of service and a training schedule to ensure the high performance of the whole team.

**Who are you?**

To be successful in this role you will be driven, passionate and possess the following attributes:

- Minimum 2-3 years as restaurant/assistant manager or similar role.
- Excellent communication, written and verbal.
- Motivated to achieve excellence through customer experience.
- A proven track record of leading high performing teams
- A leader who inspires and motivates
- a happy team is a dangerous team. An ability to create a fun and professional environment is **ESSENTIAL** to this role.
- Experienced in a fast-paced environment with the skills to develop staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships.
- Humility
- we’re confident, but not arrogant. You should be too.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
