Position: Venue Manager /General Manager

Location: Brunswick East, Melbourne

About Us: The Beast is not your average burger joint - it's a vibrant space where delectable bites meet the rhythm of live music. You will join a group that provides support and benefits across multiple sites in Melbourne.

OOPW have operated successful hospitality venues for almost two decades. We are always kicking down the doors with an eclectic program of music, performance and events, along with a bar program focused on good booze and debauchery, in an iconic Melbourne hospitality space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service, from the kitchen to the stage.
- Staff Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute events, collaborating with brand ambassadors, our marketing and events team.
- Quality and Stock Control: Maintain high standards for food quality, customer service, and overall venue presentation along with ensuring stocktakes are done in a timely fashion and to the required standard.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage budgets, forecasting, ensuring financial targets are met.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in venue management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, including rostering and other financial recording.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
