The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Digital Sourcing Procurement and Contract Specialist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide expert procurement and commercial advice to executive and senior management
- Undertake all aspects of end-to-end divisional and organisational procurement support requirements, to manage high value and risk (strategic) contractual performance
- Liaise with other business units regarding supplier management and contract management activities
- Prepare complex briefing notes, board papers, concept papers and other relevant documentation to support recommendation evidence and influence informed ICT procurement decision making

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- While not mandatory, is expected that applicants will have at least five (5) years of relevant ICT procurement experience, including significant category planning experience, GITC/QITC contract management experience, and relevant commercial and government ICT procurement experience would be highly regarded
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary
- Temporary full time (12 months with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $122 108 - $131 044 per annum

The Digital Sourcing function at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service is accountable for end-to-end ICT procurement, including category management, sourcing (tendering) and contract management for ICT related goods and services. Based at Southport.
