The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Digital Procurement and Contract Advisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide influential Information and Communication Technology (ICT) procurement and commercial advice to executive and senior management
- Undertake all aspects of ICT procurement in accordance with Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service and Whole of Government (WoG) Procurement policies and procedures
- Develop an appropriate pipeline of sourcing activity that is aligned to organisational and WoG ICT priorities and the management of contract expiry risk
- Develop and maintain systems that support high purchasing integrity and accurate asset lifecycle management

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- While not mandatory, is expected that applicants will have at least five (5) years of relevant ICT procurement experience, including significant sourcing and contract management experience, commercial and government ICT procurement experience, GITC/QITC experience, and experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint and the MS Office suite would be highly regarded
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary
- Temporary full time (12 months with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $108 936 - $116 690 per annum

The Digital Sourcing function at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service is accountable for end-to-end ICT procurement, including category management, sourcing (tendering) and contract management for ICT related goods and services. Based at Southport.
