Are you passionate about design, creativity, and tech? We’re looking for an energetic and innovative Industry Consultant to elevate our engagement with the design and creative tech sectors. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind building valuable industry partnerships and creating exceptional opportunities for students and alumni. Your mission: to connect top talent with leading-edge projects, internships, and professional placements. You’ll work closely with industry leaders and stakeholders, promote our vertical’s offerings, and ensure our students are at the forefront of real-world experience. Day-to-day accountabilities:
In your role as an Industry Consultant, you'll actively manage and enhance industry partnerships, secure valuable opportunities for students and alumni, and ensure our design and creative tech programs stay relevant and impactful. Your daily activities will involve engaging with industry stakeholders, promoting our offerings, and ensuring seamless integration of real-world experiences into our curriculum.- Partnership Development: Source, develop, and maintain a diverse range of industry partnerships to create internships, professional placements, and live project opportunities for students.- Opportunity Management: Secure and manage work-integrated learning opportunities, including live briefs and projects, ensuring they align with curriculum requirements and meet student cohort needs.- Industry Engagement: Conduct regular industry visits and attend relevant events to build relationships, promote our vertical’s offerings, and identify new opportunities for collaboration and business development.- Reporting and Coordination: Provide weekly activity reports, maintain accurate records of client interactions in CRM systems, and work closely with internal stakeholders to manage and promote industry opportunities for students.
This is a Full Time Permanent position based at our Ultimo campus in Sydney.
Who you are
You are a proactive and passionate professional with a robust background in design and creative tech. With a proven track record in graphic design, interiors, and animation, you bring a creative flair to everything you do. Your strong network within the industry and your exceptional communication skills enables you to forge and nurture meaningful partnerships. You’re adept at sourcing and securing opportunities that align with curriculum requirements and business needs, always with an eye for innovation and improvement. Your drive and adaptability make you an ideal fit for a role where every day presents a new opportunity to shape the future of design and creative tech education.- Industry Experience: At least 5 years in design and creative tech, with a background in graphic design, interiors, and animation.- Partnership Development: Proven ability to secure internships, professional placements, and B2B/B2B2C opportunities within the sector.- Networking Skills: Strong relationship-building capabilities and experience in leveraging industry networks for business development and student opportunities.- Communication and Reporting: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in providing regular activity reports and maintaining CRM systems.
