The role of the Property Services team is to deliver comprehensive property services to the regions and oversee the delivery of maintenance services such as scoping, compliance inspections and work order management.

The purpose of this role is to manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects and manage and report on field inspection activities/outcomes to scope and monitor the delivery of work, as well as managing the verification of contractor compliance with maintenance contract requirements.

**What you’ll do**

As the Asset Performance Lead in, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the successful delivery of a range of projects aimed at improving social housing maintenance in NSW.

Your responsibilities encompass all aspects of planning, development, implementation, inspection, and performance management. You'll develop comprehensive project plans, coordinate resources, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to reporting requirements, utilising established agency project management methodology.

Building and maintaining positive relationships with contractors and stakeholders will be paramount as you collaborate to resolve service delivery issues and ensure fair and consistent adjudication. Your keen oversight will extend to monitoring and evaluating all project aspects, including risk management, benefits realization, and compliance measures.

You'll manage teams, ensuring compliance with governance and quality standards to achieve key service outcomes. In addition, you'll coordinate the issuance of non-compliance notices and other performance measures to contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and initiating abatement action where necessary.

Your expertise will also be crucial in providing advice on scoping and variation claims, as well as offering timely, high-level guidance to senior management on inspection, verification, and program activities.

**What we’re looking for**
- Understanding of the Australian Building Codes, Australian Standards, Government, or commercial probity and contracting standards.
- Relevant qualification and/or sound construction building maintenance and/or building construction experience/exposure, together with field inspection experience and measurement of performance against standards.
- Sound financial management experience, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Current driver’s license.
- Desirable - experience in compliance inspections of building essential services.
