**Purpose of the role**

Are you passionate about the lending industry? This is an exciting opportunity to shape and mature the lending program for Greater Bank Distribution. Through coordination of stakeholders, you will improve lending capability and performance, deliver seamless customer experience whilst ensuring Greater Bank meets its lending obligations and regulatory requirements and has a fit for purpose lending coaching program.

- You will be an innovative, solutions-orientated thinker who can actively turn strategy into action
- You have demonstrated experience leading initiatives including strategic change across an enterprise (design, documentation, and implementation).
- You will have highly developed communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide considered recommendations and reports to senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to actively lead, coach and motivate a team
- Understanding of an end-to-end lending process that supports the delivery of an exceptional customer experience
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory and statutory obligations including NCCP, COBA Code of Practice, Real Property Act/Conveyancing Act, Privacy Act and Responsible Lending Guide
- Experience in Credit Risk, Retail Lending, Business Lending or Lending Fulfilment
- Certificate IV in training and assessment with knowledge and understanding of the principles associated with competency based training

**What will your key responsibilities include?**
- Evolve the lending coaching program for Distribution, Greater Bank including strategy, resourcing, capability analysis in line with organisational strategic objectives
- Lead initiatives for the NGM Group in line with Distribution, Greater Bank strategic objectives
- Proactively plan and prepare data, analytics and documentation to support governance, individuals and or team performance and reporting requirements
- Chair the Lending Capability Steering Committee, co-ordinating insights from various stakeholders to create a holistic view of all contributing elements of Lender Capability
- Co-ordinate stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes through a lending centric view of induction, training, accreditation and ongoing lender development
- Facilitate group or individual sessions to support the implementation of lending related changes including regulatory and compliance updates
- Delivery of specific milestones within the Lending Capability Accreditation Program (LCAP)
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in lending processes, policy and guidelines that result in positive outcomes for both the customer and employee experience
