An ICT Support Officer at Vintech Systems is responsible to install, service, terminate and commission, repair and maintain accommodation specific products, including electronic locks and locking systems, in-room automation systems, energy saving devices, in-room digital safes and energy efficient mini bars which run through the smart building infrastructure such as the “smart” hotel room, “smart” apartment, devices and software. His duties require knowledge of electronics, mechanics and computers hardware and software.
**The following are the specific duties of the ICT Support Officer at Vintech Systems**:
1. He is responsible for setting up and configuring complex accommodation specific systems, install and maintain hardware and software in relation to the operation of these. Also to provide technical assistance and support over the telephone and in person on site, to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
2. Responsible for the installation, termination and commissioning, maintenance and repair of room control systems which involve similar complex principles.
3. Requires travelling to Vintech’s customer sites all over Australia and perform tasks like install and configure hubs, install locks on cut doors, install lift operators or door closers, configure room automation.
4. Organise sessions with third-party system vendors to test, action, and commission the integration between operating systems, and the systems of Vintech’s products.
5. Remote and onsite integration and continuing administration of physical and virtual data centres including all applicable data systems, devices, and information security systems.
6. Installing smart room access using (Interel) products
8. Database set-up for hotel security system (Saflok, Ambiance)
9. Giving training for Managers and staff in the hotel (Saflok, Ambiance, Kaba)
10. Server set up and installation
11. Installing and configuring workstation.
12. Diagnosing any problems when something is not working in the security system of the hotel mostly Vintech products.
13. Installing wiring and products including remote control units, electric strikes, sliding doors, etc.
14. Repair Vintech products like, electronic door locks, Interel panel and Remote-control unit.
**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with minimum 2 years of work experience in the relevant field
2. Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and industry trends to keep us on the cutting edge. Engaging with employees throughout the company, the IT support person will have an immediate impact on the efficiency of our operations and overall growth.
3. Sound knowledge of electronics, mechanics and computers hardware and software.
4. A strong focus on customer engagement
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
