Fund Manager

Lead the development and implementation of key fund and investment strategies
- Lead the client liaison with the AXA Group Funds Management team (Paris) and other associated internal teams in head office.
- Influence the respective asset managers and indirect managers, and make key decisions to drive Fund performance
- To maintain awareness and visibility of all key fund and asset management matters occurring within the Fund
- Overview all fund related reporting to both the Board and Investors, including real estate markets, asset management initiatives, acquisition and disposal programs
- Ensuring adherence to the various compliance and governance structures, and participate in the relevant Investor Committees / Advisory Committees on behalf of the Fund as required.
- Manage and oversee key processes for the AXA funds, including asset and SPV budgeting and business plan development with the support of asset managers
- Assist the Transaction Team with any new transactions as required from time to time, including due diligence and the establishment of new investment structure and ventures.
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education/Qualifications**
- Degree with specialization in finance / real estate / economics

**Experience**
- Minimum 10 years relevant professional experience (ideally with formal real estate qualifications) with exposure to alternative real estate sectors desirable.
- Thorough understanding and historic experience in real estate funds and investment management

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Financial analysis, development feasibility and/or valuation experience required
- Experience in, or at least have a solid understanding of, real estate sectors in Australia
- Fluency in English

**Competencies**
- Strong written communication, presentation and report writing skills
- Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills (DCF and financial modelling)
- Solid capability of MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel
- Flexibility, adaptability and initiative
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
