Are you detail-driven, analytical, and looking to grow your career in fund administration? Automic Group is expanding, and we're looking for a Fund Accountant to join our high-performing
Fund Administration
team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing fintech that is redefining financial market infrastructure.

As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and reconciliation services across a diverse portfolio of managed funds and investment products. You'll work closely with clients, custodians, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service and high-quality outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations, unit pricing, and reconciliations
  • Prepare journals, accruals, and maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Support financial statement preparation and assist with tax calculations and distribution processes
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks across cash, positions, and valuations
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to resolve queries and provide timely support
  • Assist with external audit processes and prepare supporting documentation
  • Contribute to process improvements, operational controls, and continuous optimisation initiatives

What you'll bring

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar (essential)
  • 1–3+ years' experience in fund accounting, fund administration, financial reporting, or investment operations
  • Strong understanding of managed funds, financial instruments, unit pricing, and valuation principles
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical capability, and proficiency in Excel
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
  • Progress toward CA/CPA is an advantage
