**About this role**
As a Building Services Engineering Leader for Arup Queensland, this role is focused on driving the best multi-disciplinary engineering team and ensuring that it delivers a world class experience and design for our clients and projects.

**What will I do?**
- Build and support client relationships, procuring work, negotiating contracts and for financial performance in several specified areas, with the primary areas of focus being healthcare and property;
- Partake in the development and implementation of longer term plans in line with the Arup business strategy;
- Manage the development, design and management of large, complex, long term projects. This will involve coordinating people, facilities and resources within tight timelines and in line with budgetary constraints;
- Utilize your strong local Brisbane client network and will be accountable for client relations and representing Arup within Queensland;
- Execute responsibilities as outlined in Arup’s Quality Management System.

**What will I bring?**
- RPEQ and Chartered with the Institute of Engineers (Australia)
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership;
- Substantial knowledge and experience in either electrical or mechanical engineering consultancy and design.
- Substantial knowledge of the local marketplace across a broad range of sectors with a focus on healthcare and sound client network
- Substantial experience in managing key projects. Projects involving architects and the management of multi-disciplinary project teams will be viewed favourably.
