**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Supporter Engagement, this role will manage and grow a portfolio of financial supporters of The Hospital Research Foundation Group through effective relationship management across the donor journey.

As a relationship specialist, you will be passionate about understanding people and their motivations, and find joy in connecting supporters with causes that matter most to them. This is a great opportunity to lift an existing portfolio of supporters to the next level, as well as develop new relationships using your strategic thinking and experience in philanthropy or business development.

This role is based at THRF Group Head Office (Woodville), but will work flexibly across multiple locations including Flinders Medical Centre, the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Lyell McEwin Hospital.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Achieve short-term and long-term philanthropic revenue and acquisition targets in mid and major gifts, and Gifts in Will
- Deliver outstanding donor stewardship; build and nurture strong relationships with mid to high value supporters
- Develop a robust and qualified pipeline of major donors, bequestors and supporters, nudging supporters along the pipeline. Key audiences include;
- Trust, PAF and Foundation managers
- Intermediary organisations (lawyers, wealth advisors)
- Local Health Network executives
- Represent the organisation at various functions to share the vision, mission and work of THRF Group and build networks

**About you**

As a highly motivated, confident and passionate individual, to be successful in the role you will ideally have;
- Demonstrated experience in a supporter engagement role within the fundraising industry OR in a relationship-based sales/business development role outside of fundraising
- Demonstrated experience using customer relationship management systems
- Current networks within South Australia and knowledge of the profit-for-purpose landscape
- Demonstrated understanding of moves management framework, to support the research and progression of supporter relationships
- Expertise in Major Gifts and Bequest/Planned Giving Fundraising is desired but not essential
