**Your new company**
This reputable professional services firm has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Manager to join their team. With numerous offices located globally, this firm is well known for their knowledgeable and expert employees, providing exceptional customer service with every client interaction. This role is being offered on a twelve-month maternity leave contract based in their Brisbane CBD office, situated in a convenient location close to public transport. This role will be hybrid working three days in the office, and two from home.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for the following:

- Work closely with groups to plan and deliver initiatives aligning with business goals and objectives
- Ensure all people issues, grievances, and requests are dealt with in a prompt and professional manner
- Support and coach stakeholders to enhance team performance and optimise employee engagement and retention
- Advise on and participate in the recruitment process for all legal positions
- Role model and champion company core values
- Collaborate with the HR centres of excellence to ensure consistency in the employee experience
- Manage WHS issues, including work allocation and overall wellbeing
- Comply with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the role requirements
- Adhering and achieving role KPI’s including staff engagement, effectively manage HR processes, attracting talent and management of underperformance

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

- Extensive experience as a generalist HR professional
- Tertiary qualifications in related discipline
- Significant ER experience
- The ability to work collaborative and effectively across all levels of the firm
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite
