Payroll Officer

**Key** responsibilities**
- Creating and maintaining employee records
- Monitoring the payroll inbox and responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner
- Process end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls ensuring compliance is maintained
- Calculate and process payments in accordance with the relevant legislation and Awards, Agreements, and contracts of employment
- Assist the payroll supervisor with maintenance of payroll and timekeeping software
- Reconcile and process payments of Superannuation, PAYG and Payroll Tax
- General payroll administrative tasks
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly payroll reporting statistics for internal divisions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes

**About you**
- 2-3 years' experience in a payroll or equivalent role
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
- Previous experience with Kronos, desirable
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
