**Your Role**:
Reporting to the National People and Culture (P&C) Operations Manager, you will provide comprehensive P&C advisory support to local Leaders, Managers and Employees. You will partner with the local General Manager to drive National P&C Initiatives. The role will see you ensure local strategic plans are operationalised to support individual BU requirements enabling a high-performance culture.
**You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following**:
- Support the business in driving a culture of high engagement and high performance, through supporting initiatives and programs including our employee engagement surveys, performance review cycles, and annual merit reviews.
- The provision of frontline ER support, advice and coaching to the local leadership teams including Managers, Leaders and GMs.
- Partnering with Senior Leadership Team to support broader P&C deliverables.
- Champion P&C initiatives within the dedicated BU, and nationally, such as Inclusion & Diversity, EEO, Bullying, Harassment training.
- Case manage all ER and RTW cases with a focus on proactive management, early intervention, and support by providing workplace advice.
- Support effective utilisation of GB’s Performance framework, providing performance management training, facilitating positive behaviours and fielding processes for staff and managers.
- Advise Leaders and Managers on the management of non-performance and develop leadership capability to enable effective performance practices.
- Support change processes (including milestones, timelines, guidelines and toolkits) by building a shared enthusiasm and purpose with clear communication.
- Work closely with Talent Partners and Leaders to understand role needs, develop/refine position descriptions and evaluate position requirements.
- Contribute actively to fortnightly Workforce Planning meetings from end-to-end, with a focus on facilitation and data to support leaders in forward planning.
**We’re interested in hearing from people who possess**:
- Experience in a previous People & Culture Advisory or HR Generalist position with case management exposure.
- Comfortable supporting an Operational client group of up to 300 employees with a view to expand.
- Sound generalist understanding of HR legislation, risk, and compliance issues.
- Previously demonstrated ability to work with high level stakeholders with a focus on customer service delivery in the P&C space.
- Previous experience with leadership development and succession planning.
- Previous experience in fast-paced, high intensity industry.
- Ability to deal confidently with staff at all levels, possessing strong communication skills and consistent client service.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources preferred
