**ABOUT US**:Nyaco Foods is a food manufacturing facility based in Taren Point NSW. We specialise in high volume food production and supply a diverse range of soups, sauces, poultry and meat solutions to businesses across the hospitality sector.

An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and qualified Operations Manager to join our team working in a permanent, full-time role.

This role is based at our Production Facility at Taren Point, NSW.

Alongside the daily running of production and team leadership, this role will have exposure to a range of projects and continuous improvement initiatives - we're looking for someone who really thrives on a challenge, proactively seeks new opportunities, and who is all about thinking outside the box

**What you'll be responsible for?**
- Providing direction, leadership, support, and guidance to all key stakeholders
- Taking ownership of daily and weekly manufacturing performance to meet site KPIs
- Looking at & introducing ways to improve the efficiency of production processes
- Oversee the hiring and training of food production personnel
- Ensure manufacturing and processing staff wear appropriate sanitary and protective gear to ensure health and safety
- Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations
- Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets
- Managing unplanned downtime by ensuring efficient equipment operation and preventative maintenance
- Driving and supporting continuous improvement activity throughout the factory

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Food Production Supervisory role
- Proven experience in leading and engaging teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes
- Experience delivering budget results
- Positivity and a solutions-focused approach

- Proven work experience in Food Production
- Knowledge of MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data

**Salary**: $71,306.78 - $154,296.33 per year
