**About the team and role**

The
**Product Insights and Analytics** team are responsible for empowering Xero to deliver successful customer outcomes through actionable insights. We support product teams with key information to; understand the current product landscape, inform and motivate product behaviour, identify revenue opportunities and shape product strategy.

As the
**Insights and Analytics Manager**, you will also be responsible for cultivating a high-performing team of analysts who support your Product area. You will provide leadership and mentoring to enable their growth and development, creating a cohesive and thought-leading team that consistently delivers value to our stakeholders. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the business.

You’ll do this by developing a strong understanding of customer and business needs & combining this with a first class insights and analytics service to meet those needs. Your primary business stakeholders encompass multiple products and customer experiences, requiring you to nurture key executive and general management relationships across the globe.

**What you'll do**:

- Directly manage 4 analysts supporting your portfolio: developing their capability to not only deliver analytic outcomes for you stakeholders, but also manage their own sub portfolios within your remit
- Support teams/portfolios with key information to; understand the current product landscape, inform and motivate product behaviour, identify revenue opportunities and shape strategy
- Engage with leaders across all of the product groups your team supports to help build a clear Insights & Analytics vision, roadmap and backlog across your product portfolio including but not limited to: Dashboarding and visualisation - Metrics, KPIs and OKRs, Data driven strategy execution, Partnering with Product Strategy on initiative sizing, Enhancing customer segmentation and clustering with data, Experimentation or testing of hypothesis to identify successful product initiatives, Product usage data instrumentation
- Provide support, advice and coaching to analysts in your team to enable them to develop their career and grow
- Work alongside other Product Insights & Analytics Managers and PIA leadership to build a strong central function, and actively lead or contribute to PIA internal initiatives or cross-product initiatives.
- Lead and instrument the development of analytics based solutions which drive customer growth to solve customer and business needs.
- Advocate and be responsible for your team building solutions across the customer journey that increase long term value for your product groups and the company.
- Be a major contributor to and advocate for driving a culture of data literacy within your product groups and ensuring that future decisions are based on facts.
- Have the satisfaction that your data and analytics is driving measurable outcomes and really making a difference

**What you'll bring with you**:

- Experience in analytics or SaaS, either in a Product Management capacity of or as a technical practitioner
- Leadership experience and exceptional professional maturity
- Enjoy data analytics and have a track record of using analytics to deliver value
- A commercial mindset with a keen interest in improving end to end customer user experience and improving ROI
- Comfortable working with complex and diverse data
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with different stakeholders, both non-technical and technical
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Experienced in delivering analytics in the form of interactive dashboards
