Be an internal compliance officer with a family company, as part of a growing Systems team. You will undertake compliance and auditing activities using various compliance software platforms and provide support for the development of effective risk management practices. The role also provides independent and objective assurance through continuous evaluation, monitoring and improvement of business operations

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake desktop compliance reviews and audits using various company software platforms.
- Undertake on-site audits against company procedures and processes.
- Undertake additional Site Inspections and auditing of Subcontractors.
- Contribute to shaping our culture through high levels of people engagement.
- Monitor performance against clear goals and expectations, tracking progress, ensuring timely feedback, providing appropriate support and addressing deficiencies promptly.
- Promote a culture which ensures compliance to our business processes is adhered to.
- Provide a monthly report detailing the inspections, audits and outcomes completed during the month.

**Experience & Skills**:
**Essential**:

- Recent and relevant experience in a similar role (Risk, Compliance or Audit)
- Cert IV WHS.
- Internal Auditing Qualifications.
- Advanced computer skills and database experience.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conceptual skills.
- Strong statistical, analytical, interpreting and reporting skills.
- Ability manage time and prioritise tasks.

**Desired**:
Experience with Office of Federal Safety Commission Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme.
