We're seeking a highly motivated Area Manager who is focused on developing and supporting their people to make the difference to children and families every day, by creating dynamic and engaged teams across their area.

We have an area with exceptional opportunity for growth and leadership development across 10 independent business units located in; Bathurst, Cowra, Dubbo, Forbes, Kelso and Orange.

The Area Manager will help centres meet these targets, you will source examples of best practice in the organisation and leverage these to develop and coach your Centre Directors in all aspects of the business. You will also support Centre Directors to effectively lead, manage, and develop their teams.

Your Impact;
Deliver effective and strong leadership to Centre Directors within the area, providing clear direction to the overall area to deliver on organisational area targets.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the area’s performance against targets and set clear requirements for business improvement.
Hold Centre Directors accountable for centre performance.
Provide area direction and develop proactive solutions, leveraging available resources.
Implement an area plan, developed in collaboration with centres, which is responsive to local and organisational requirements.
Create purposeful internal and external networks to connect Centre Directors with the resources and expertise they need to meet their performance objectives.
Using the Goodstart Practice Guide you will support and mentor Centre Directors to engage in a cycle of continuous improvement to continually raise the quality of early learning in each centre.

You’ll bring to the table;
Tertiary qualification in Education
Leadership experience (Essential)
Ability to rapidly onboard new information - learn and understand the Early Childhood Education and Care setting and frameworks
Managerial experience of multi-site teams
Demonstrated ability to achieve business outcomes through commercial and operational acumen
Ability to lead, motivate and drive a team to focus on continuous improvement
Be able to lead a high performing result driven team to deliver on organisational key deliverables
Be able to create a team of independent business units motivated for success
Champion and advocate the benefits of early learning and high-quality outcomes in the Birth - 5 Environment
