The Hotels and Holidays Partnerships team has responsibility over the hotels partnerships strategy, commercial relationships across all H+H business verticals and the end to end supply of hotel inventory sold via Qantas Groups’ branded distribution channels.

The Strategic Partnership Executive is primarily responsible for fostering and managing strategic partnerships that contribute to the growth and success of the business. Forming strategic long-term partnerships is a key strategic pillar for the Partnership and Procurement team, in addition to playing a vital broader role for the Group, working across both Qantas and Jetstar brands.

This position involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (at all levels), prospecting and liaising with potential partners to identify, negotiate, and implement mutually beneficial strategic initiatives, incorporating the end to end sales process. This role will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive revenue and business optimisation opportunities. Working closely with cross-functional teams including legal, marketing, finance, data-analytics and digital product teams to name a few. Contracting and assisting with the execution of campaign activity to drive revenue and margin update will also be a key role objective. In addition to sharing and tracking performance and results.

The Strategic Partnership Executive will work closely with the Strategic Partnership Manager, Head of Partnerships and the broader Partnerships team to contribute to defining, building, monitoring and adjusting the Hotels and Holidays Partnership and Procurement strategy. The role will require advanced stakeholder management, negotiation, contracting and communication skills, in addition to strong understanding of the end to end sales process. This role will participate in sharing knowledge and industry insights across the team, broader Loyalty business and the Qantas Group more broadly.

What you’ll bring to the role:

- 5+ years of experience in travel industry, sales/account management experience
- Tertiary Qualification in business administration or equivalent discipline
- Stakeholder management
- Communication skills
- Negotiation and strong commercial acumen
- Contracting experience
- Cross functional team expertise
- Problem solving and ability to solve complex business problems
- Performance management
