- About the Role
- As part of the WA Iron Ore BOS (BHP Operating System) Team, this role is pivotal in generating operational performance insights and improvements across our operations. You will work closely with the Manager and Principal of Operational Performance, leveraging your data collection and transformation skills to analyse and interpret complex information.
- Role will be based in Perth office.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Collaborate with the Manager and Principal of Operational Performance to provide data-driven insights and solutions for business challenges
- Gather and analyse information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations
- Develop positive relationships with site-based improvement teams to support the validation of insights
- Communicate and share actionable insights to support evidence-based decision-making and promote operational excellence
- About You
- Bachelor or Masters degree in a STEM field
- Exposure to mining, maintenance, or processing is ideal, but experience in other industries or consulting is highly regarded
- Workforce experience post graduation is required
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems through data analytics
- Use data, facts, and logical reasoning to make rational decisions
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-critical tasks
