**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Operations Specialist to join our Welshpool team. Reporting to the Operations Excellence Manager, the main responsibility of the Operations Specialist is to review and improve business processes and procedures, including systems to optimise the operations. You will participate in or lead projects to develop change to current systems and processes whilst working with and communicating to internal and external customers to achievement key business objectives.
- Performs, participates in or coordinates audits and reviews of existing processes or documentation to ensure appropriate standard and rules are applied.
- Initiates, analyses and works on projects which deliver business solutions through improved processes which can include improved efficiencies, delivering additional customer services or leveraging outsourcing or vendor opportunities within department.
- Validates and completed accurate and timely reporting
- Identifies risks and opportunities within key processes in the area/ department and shares findings with management
- Aligns and gains commitment to actions across teams and from different stakeholders.

**Experience**:

- Four years of relevant work experience
- Accuracy and a high level of attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Influencing and persuasion skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Tertiary training and experience with Six Sigma and Data analysis advantageous
