Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Head of Finance and Operations, this stand-alone role will provide operational and strategic HR support to the CEO, leadership team and employees. The role manages the day-to-day HR function and provides advice and support on all HR and employee related matters.

THE CRITERIA

Coach and guide managers on policies, procedures, best practice HR and performance management.

Guide and support managers with a range of complex ER matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, complaints, and investigations.

Manage the continuous development of policies and procedures ensuring they are aligned with legislative changes and fit for purpose.

Manage all HR queries as the business ‘go-to’ person.

Continue to develop the performance development framework and related processes.

Proactively support and facilitate learning and development initiatives.
Oversee and deliver the end-to-end recruitment process, including onboarding and induction.

Develop and implement strategies around employee wellbeing and workplace health and safety.

Support the General Manager Marketing and Community Engagement in managing volunteer-related programs and activities.

Ensure PCFA’s compliance with all relevant workplace and occupational legislation.

**Qualifications**:
A tertiary qualification in HR, employment law/relations or related discipline.

Experience
A minimum of five years of experience as a Senior HR Generalist or HR Manager, in a standalone HR Management role.

Extensive experience in employee relations, previous exposure to complex complaints and investigations.

Previous experience in a Not for Profit or small geographically dispersed organisation.

**Skills**:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A problem solver, with the ability to identify risks, articulate actions and communicate those effectively.

Self-starter, comfortable working autonomously, with sound decision-making skills.

Strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
