Join a leading Australian manufacturer and wholesaler of a large range of high-volume engineered products sold into industries as diverse as Mining, Oil and Gas, Construction, Manufacturing and Retail Hardware. The largest privately owned and operated company in their field, this significant enterprise was established in 1965 and operates 16 distribution centres across Australia, New Zealand and Asia as well as two purpose-built International manufacturing operations.

**Your new role**
***
- Phone surveying potential customer leads
- Building rapport with each client over 2/3 touchpoints
- Internet research of potential sales leads
- Entering customer information into a simple CRM system
- Providing qualified sales leads to Sales Managers
- Be effective at bringing market intelligence back into the organisation, from competitive threats; to recurring objections; to customers at risk

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Pleasant and engaging phone manner
- Good interpersonal skills
- Can use Excel to an intermediate level
- Attention to detail in recording customer information
- It would be an advantage if you had experience in any of the following:

- Customer service
- Phone sales
- Market research
- Fasteners, Hardware or Construction products

**What you'll get in return**
