**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Strategy and Improvement team is responsible for reviewing and improving business processes through a integrated change management approach to ensure Council operates efficiently and effectively.
Reporting to the Manager Strategy and Improvement, the Operational PMO Coordinator role is responsible for:
- Delivering crucial corporate systems projects using proven project management methodologies which incorporate a structured and integrated change management approach. This approach will achieve mínimal disruption to business operations and ensure business readiness.
- Support the organisation in improving its project management methodology and will be responsible for administering Council’s Project Management Framework and corporate project management systems.
- Delivering training and support on both corporate information systems as well as general project management best practice.
The Operational PMO Coordinator is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community by driving the effective and efficient delivery of projects at Council.
The successful applicant will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in project, change management, information technology or demonstrated solid contemporary experience in project management, change analysis /business readiness analysis, combined with ongoing professional development.
- Extensive experience as a project manager or project lead delivering systems or technology related projects.
- Extensive experience in change management and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.

**Position information**: This is a permanent full-time position, working a 70 hour fortnight, with access to Council's 9 day fortnight Accrued Day Off (ADO) arrangement.
This role is predominantly located at Council's Merrylands office, and may be required to work across any of Council’s work locations with occasional travel across Council worksites,
**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 14 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $2,067.27 to $2,377.36 per week, plus 10.5% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
