**About the Team**:
The Claims and Payments Service Design and Implementation team is responsible for strategic planning and implementation of transformation initiatives to increase payments and claims quality, efficiency, controls, correctness and outcomes in support of the Agency's corporate plan.

The team is responsible for reviewing and evaluating current claims and payments processes and controls and determining and implementing improvement. It is also responsible for ensuring claims and payments processes are optimally included in the base platform build of new CRM Software, future enhancements are included on the backlog and that the new platform is implemented in a planned, controlled and consultative manner.

**About the Role**:
The
**EL1 Change Manager** is accountable under broad direction to undertake work that delivers quality outcomes across the functions of the agency. The position will have responsibility to actively assess, design and deploy change management activities across initiatives of significant complexity.

Additionally, the role is responsible for supporting and managing key internal stakeholder relationships to effectively embed change across the Agency. It will provide planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the position's assigned Work Area.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Developing, implementing and evaluating change management requirements, plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's Change Management Framework.
- Ensuring that change readiness assessments are completed, areas of resistance are identified and mitigating activities are in place.
- Identifying, assessing and reporting change risks or issues.
- Leading the tracking and evaluation of change management activities in the Agency and proposing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Influencing and advising project sponsors on how to effectively manage and implement change.
- Working closely with the project manager and the communication and engagement lead, planning and testing the effectiveness of the future state operating environment.
- Experience in strategically integrating change strategies.
- Strong and adaptable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work within and across teams and adapt quickly to a changing environment
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as a key member of the delivery team

**Desirable skills for the role**:

- Tertiary qualification related to Change Management
- Prosci Change Management Certification

**Benefits**:

- Full time hours Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day
- $602.55 per day + super
