We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Database Administrator to join our Operations team. This role is pivotal in managing MLC’s critical data systems, including VASS, IBIS, VETtrak, and NAPLAN platforms. You will ensure data integrity, facilitate internal and external assessments, and support the College’s operational and administrative needs with precision and efficiency.

Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:

- Administer and maintain student data systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee enrolments for assessments, including VCE, IB, and NAPLAN.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and external agencies to support reporting and compliance.
- Develop assessment schedules, seating plans, and supervision rosters.
- Manage secure distribution of exam materials and coordinate assessment logistics.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams.

- Demonstrated technical troubleshooting capabilities and a proactive mindset.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for student data and reporting.
- A current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
- A commitment to ideas, striving for excellence, and a high level of integrity.

Desirable experience includes:

- Proficiency with database systems such as VASS, IBIS, VETtrak, and NAPLAN platforms.
- Familiarity with platforms like Edrolo, Education Perfect, and Mathspace.
- Previous experience in an educational or similar operational role.
