This growth has brought about the requirement for a Compliance Specialist, to join their team on a permanent, full time basis.

**Your new role**

Based in the Hobart CBD, and reporting into the Compliance Manager, you’ll be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and supporting compliance activities, with a focus on managing regulatory compliance risk. As the Compliance Specialist your key responsibilities will be;
- Provide regular opinion / recommendation on state of compliance across processes, systems and initiatives
- Support the identification of controls and assurance across compliance obligations
- Assist with Dispute Resolution, including providing advice to the business
- Act as a regulatory compliance SME on broader business projects
- Prepare dashboards for stakeholders as to the status of controls across the entity
- Contribute to developing and reviewing/testing business compliance controls
- Assist with the review and maintenance of key compliance registers

**What you'll need to succeed**

A self-starter, you’ll ideally be degree qualified in Law, Commerce or relevant discipline, and have strong experience in compliance management in financial services. You’ll have demonstrated ability to manage your own outputs through planning, prioritisation and process, along with capability and experienced to interrogate and report on complex current and historical compliance incidents. With excellent people skills, you’ll enjoy working with various stakeholders right across the business.
