**About the Role**

Reporting to the Senior Exploration Project Geologist an opportunity exists for an experienced Exploration Project

Geologist at the Greenbushes site to join the Geology team. The role requires a tertiary qualification in this field.

The goal of the Geology team is to achieve a 500Mt resource from the lease holding surrounding the Greenbushes

Operations by 2026. There are multiple near mine prospects that will be progressed to achieve this goal.

This is a residential role on an 8:6 roster working a nominal 38.1 hour-week. A competitive salary and other benefits

will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

**Responsibilities include**:

- monitor contractor drilling and excavation activities including rig supervision, drill pad clearing activities and

communicate geology requirements. Contractor plod validation and sign off;
- provide geological support to contractors and Talison Technical Services including preparing geological maps

and sections of drill holes, dieback areas and rehabilitation, mark up of collars and azimuths for drilling and

updating tracking sheets;
- drill programme design and execution;
- maintain and generate interpretations for drill hole targeting mineral resource assessment;
- sampling and logging and validating of drill holes;
- geochemical survey design and execution;
- geophysical programme design and execution;
- carry out QAQC checks and reporting and act on irregularities; and
- order and maintain geological equipment and stores.
- a tertiary qualification in Geology;
- current ‘C’ class Drivers Licence;
- an understanding of drilling practices and QAQC of drilling practices; and
- IT literate with emphasis on mining industry software.
