**Introduction**:
Regis Resources is an ASX-listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team and a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. Regis is a purely Australian gold miner with operations in Western Australia and New South Wales.

The current mine site locations are in the WA Goldfields region with multiple mining operations (both open pit and underground) as well as a number of satellite pits. This is an opportunity to join a high performing team, working collaboratively towards a future production profile of up to half a million oz. of gold annually.

**Description**:
The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Geologist to join our Exploration team at Duketon. You will be part of a highly successful and well-funded exploration group, working on exciting projects whilst developing your own long term career ambitions.

This is a full-time permanent role - 8:6 FIFO roster (ex Perth).

About the Role

Project work as required by the Senior Exploration Geologist;
Design and maintain exploration drilling programs;
Compile geological models and assess a range of geological information including mapping, geochemical sampling, and geophysical surveys;
Work to help develop empirical and conceptual models based on a sound knowledge of Archaean gold and other mineral deposits;
Drill rig supervision; geological logging, geological interpretation; ensure drilling is completed to appropriate standards and is cost effective;
Assist with planning and oversight of environmental and heritage surveys as required;
Mentoring geologists and other field personnel;
Regular reporting to supervisors and management; and
Maintain effective communication and feedback with peers, subordinates and superiors.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You

BSc Geology major with a focus on economic geology;
Demonstrated experience in Archaean gold exploration is desirable;
Previous experience working in large teams would be beneficial;
Leadership and management skills across all aspects of the business;
Presentation and communication skills;
Leapfrog / Micromine, ioGAS and ArcGIS experience is desirable; and
Current WA class C manual drivers licence.
