Exploration Geologist

**Description**:
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to join our team at Duketon. In this role, reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, you will be responsible for adding value through execution of effective exploration programs resulting in the discovery of new resources and reserves.
This is a site-based role, working on an 8:6 FIFO roster (ex-Perth).
About the Role
Drill rig supervision, geological logging and interpretation and ensuring sampling quality is maintained
Ensure drilling is completed to appropriate standards and is cost effective
Ensure the safe operation of work they are accountable for - of themselves, their colleagues and contractors via Regis safety systems
Ensure that all personnel working under the ultimate direction of the Senior Exploration Geologist (contractors, consultants and field personnel) are supervised and receive adequate instruction
Maintain high focus on data integrity and accuracy and ensure all data going into the database is high quality
Submit daily and weekly reports to meet the required quality, content and timing
Assist in the development of exploration and drilling programs
Conduct and maintain a geological and geotechnical mapping program
Support the Senior Exploration Geologist with preparation of operational reports
Attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
A degree in Science (Geology Major) - B.Sc minimum
Knowledge of Archaean geology, including Yilgarn gold deposits and conceptual models
Experience with aircore, RC and diamond drilling methods
Familiar with Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, Micromine, or other GIS and geological modelling package
Well developed communication skills (oral and written)
Work autonomously and within a team environment
Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities, to meet deadlines
Current WA class C manual drivers licence
4WD competency (certified) mandatory
Current Provide First Aid Certificate.
